Hey guys, I disappeared for a while. Life has been so good. Summer is now over (boo hoo), I miss the warm sun on my face. It gives me a sense of peace and makes me want to eat honey dew with lime on top! That was my favoite food this summer. We had a few great trips this summer with Lake Powell being the BEST. WE had all the kids and Grand kids on the boat and it was such a joy to see them play and love the water like I do. Food was amazing. The girls did a fantastic job planning. You are all invited to come again.
Didn't do much quilting this summer, just a table topper for Oma. I love to sew for her she gets so excited. Oh I did a quilt for Grandma Kathy too. It looks so cute on her bed. Fun to see how happy she was when she got it for her birthday. We even quilted a little Happy Birthday on the edge. I wish I would have made it bigger. Didn't know she would put it on the bed. I made it to be a lap quilt.
Oma turned 80 this year we had a fun little birthday party. She was a good sport considering the circumstances. Happy Birthday Oma Love you!

A Wicked night out on the town.
Last night as a family we went to see the amazing production of Wicked. All I can say is WOW.
What a great play and the performers and costumes and music were indescribable. I enjoyed seeing my kids and little Avi have such a good time. I' m grateful we get to participate in the theatre and have such an appreciation for it. Looking forward to our next theatrical outing, How about Lion King? I promise I won't make you wait in a 5 hour long line in the cold uphill both ways ever again. But wasn't it worth it! Happy Birthday to my 15 year old caboose. Sure are grateful to have you as my baby and not quite use to you being a foot taller than
"yo mamma".

Me, A teacher? NOT
Well it happened. I got the dreaded Saturday night phone call. One of my teachers in Relief Society was really sick, and suspose to teach on Sunday. I said no problem I will handle it for you. What was I thinking? Actually, I think it went pretty well, the stress was only for a night and a short morning. I just want you to know how the comments are such a help to the teacher and are really appreciated. I love the ladies in my Ward, they are wise and honest and truly care about one another. It carried me through and I didn't even have to use extra deoderant. I hope my friend/ teacher gets better soon .

Clothes hoarding disease
While putting the laundry away today. I thought to myself, why do I have so many clothes? Am I sick or something? Do I have clothes hoarders disease? Is there such a disease? I swear I wear all of it! I have no problem giving stuff away and making trips to the D.I. But I still have so much stuff. So I called my friend Pen to ask her if she thought I had a clothes hoarders disease and she belted out a laugh I will never forget. Thanks Pen you just set it in stone. I called the person who would give me the answer that I wanted. She did, after the laugh was contained. So I guess I will just continue to put all my clothes away and just blame my problem on my walk in closet. Do you think my closet could be too small? Maybe that's what it is......

It's snowing AGAIN
Well I have decided to update my blog. I feel like a hostage in my own home. The snow is flying the roads are covered and I need a diet coke with a lid and a straw. So I guess I'll just bake cookies. I finally feel the spirit of Christmas. I love to see the grandkids be so excited. Their eyes glowing as they get close to the tree all lit up and they swat at the ornaments as they go flying every which way. Gotta love em. We took the Rass-cals to Thanksgiving point to see the lighting show. They seemed to really like it, at the end Anthony said he missed some of it and wasn't ready to leave. No turning back now. They escort you right back to the road. You're welcome to pay another $7 bucks for re-entry. Somehow I think it's worth it.
I have a sense of appreciation for hard working people. We have enjoyed holiday parties and wonderful lessons and talks about the Savior, and the extra work involved is totally appreciated by ME. What a great time of year. Thanks to all of you who go the extra mile.
I'm excited to see family this year. I really miss my sis and the girls. They always seem to make me laugh...FOR DAYS....
Well I still need to figure out how to share pictures on my blog. The cookie buzzer is ringing and I must go now.

I DID IT
Not really... I signed up to blog and totally did it goofy. Of course Issy had to bail me out. What a computer looser I am. I shouldn't have gotten a big head so fast about my ability to be a blogger. How fun is this anyway. I might have more to say than my tiny brain gives me credit for.
***some advice for today. Go for a walk TODAY. Look at the sunshine and think about how lucky you are to be alive. We are so blessed! One little problem, Christmas is so soon and I'm still not feeling the spirit of it. I hope nothing is wrong with me. Got any help you can give me? Thanks Kris for bailing me out!
